The View host Joy Behar mocked Vice President Mike Pence’s Christian faith on Tuesday, saying “talking to Jesus” is a “mental illness.”
But video from 2017 shows Behar proclaiming that God told her to save the country from President Trump.
“I am being told by God to save this country,” she said on MSNBC’s Morning Joe last year while promoting her anti-Trump book “The Great Gasbag.” (see her belief below. It is not the God of heaven she hears from, but her god Lucifer!)

Behar had commented on former White House staffer Omarosa Manigault Newman’s remarks about Vice President Pence during her appearance on “Celebrity Big Brother.”
“As bad as you think Trump is, you would be worried about Pence… everyone that is wishing for impeachment might want to reconsider their life,” Omarosa said. “I am Christian, I love Jesus, but he thinks Jesus tells him to say things.”
That prompted Behar to say, “It’s one thing to talk to Jesus. It’s another thing when Jesus talks to you. That’s called mental illness, if I’m not correct, hearing voices.”
Sherri Shepherd said, “You know Joy, as a Christian, that’s just par for the course. You talk to Jesus. Jesus talks back. What concerns me is how long is the conversation with Jesus.”
Referring to Pence’s previous comments that he won’t be alone with a woman without his wife present, Behar said, “My question is, can he talk to Mary Magdalene when his wife isn’t in the room?”
All of the statements are bad enough, but that last one “My question is, can he talk to Mary Magdalene when his wife isn’t in the room?” just proves that this Jezebel bimbo has no idea what the Bible says. Mary Magdalene was the prostitute that repented and was a follower of Jesus Christ. Mary, the Mother of Jesus, who the Catholics Idolize and pray/talk to, is who she should have referred to. Unless the godless bimbo believes that Jesus and Mary Magdalene were married and had children! After all, she is an Atheist or a very weak minded Agnostic fence rider who seems to have fallen into the cesspool of Secular Humanism which is akin to Satanism!
On an ABC News show, Focus on Faith (hosted by Father Edward Beck on, I believe, March 17, 2011), Behar stated:
EB: I said to you before, Wikipedia, I don’t know if you can believe anything on Wikipedia. It said on there that you think that now you’re an agnostic. What does that mean?
Joy Behar: Well, I would go to that. I wouldn’t call myself an atheist. Because that’s a commitment to something. I’m a-theist. And I’m not atheist. Cause I feel very modest in this conversation in the sense that I don’t know. I don’t know what it is.
EB: But do you pray to someone, something out there?
Joy Behar : No.
EB: You don’t.

Joy Behar: I wish I could. I would like to. I’m sustained by my family, my brain, my life. But I don’t believe there is an afterlife, I don’t believe it.

Joy Behar: Yes, that’s how it is, sorry. I don’t believe it, I’ve never seen any proof to the contrary.
Joy Behar (5:31): I don’t believe there is a higher power that created human beings. There’s too many galaxies out there. there’s too many questions to answer, too many questions to ask for me to say well this is the answer. I just don’t see it.
Joy Behar (6:01, speaking about her daughter): I never gave her any religion because I felt I was brainwashed.

Joy Behar (10:20 about conservative religious co-hosts on The View): I’m happy about that. What I don’t like is the irrationality about the religious position. I find it very hard to understand when someone doesn’t believe in evolution when there is so much to read. I can’t imagine what Darwin went through when he came out with this theory, in fact I read he had to keep it to himself for like 25 years because he knew he would get a push back. So I’m perfectly fine around religious people, I’m happy that they believe. I can’t listen to the Earth was created in seven days when there is too much information around that tells you the opposite.

Apology Update:
Jezebel Joy Behar, who mocked Vice President’s Mike Pence’s Christian faith and then resisted apologizing, has now done so.
Last month Behar derided Pence for saying he communicates with Jesus through prayer.
“Like I said before, it’s one thing to talk to Jesus. It’s another thing when Jesus talks to you,” Behar said. “That’s called mental illness, if I’m not correct. Hearing voices.”
“My question is can he talk to Mary Magdalene without his wife in the room?” she added, referencing Pence’s policy of not dining alone with another woman if his wife is not there, too. [Video]
Pence objected to the segment, calling it an attack on all Christians: “To have ABC maintain a broadcast forum that compared Christianity to mental illness is just wrong. And it’s an insult not to me, but to the vast majority of the American people who, like me, cherish their faith.”
Asked to apologize, the hosts of The View initially refused, insisting they were just “joking.” [Video]
Today Behar finally apologized. Commenting on Mike Pence discussing the segment on “Hannity” in which he said he forgave her after she apologized to him personally, but hoped he would apologize to Christians generally.
“I think Vice President Pence is right. I was raised to respect everyone’s religious faith,” Behar said. “I fell short of that. I sincerely apologize for what I said.”
The hosts then quickly pivoted to their “Hot Topics” segment, where they discussed Trump’s firing of Rex Tillerson as secretary of State.

GOLDBERG: “So last night, the Vice President was on ‘Sean Hannity’ talking about the recent conversation he had with Joy Behar. Take a look.”

PENCE: “You and I know that criticism comes with public life. But I felt it was important that I defend the faith of tens of millions of Americans against that kind of slander. And I did so. And, you know, I give Joy Behar a lot of credit. She picked up the phone. She called me. She was very sincere. And she apologized. One of the things my faith teaches me is grace. Forgive as you have been forgiven.”
HANNITY: “So does mine, but I’m not as good at it as you.”
PENCE: “I said to Joy, ‘Of course, I forgive you.’ That’s a part of my faith experience. I did encourage her. And I’m still encouraging her to use the forum of that program or some other public forum to apologize to tens of millions of Americans who were equally offended.”

BEHAR: “So — Yeah. So, I think Vice President Pence is right. I was raised to respect everyone’s religious faith. I fell short of that. I sincerely apologize for what I said.”
